Reese-Leon's Blog

That was the last straw I never want to see his face ever again. I sit down and look at the bus schedule "It will be too late they will know I am good" I say kicking the lamp post to my right.
"Hey kid ease up on that lamppost," someone says from behind "What troubles you"
"I am running away and the bus is late…" I looked around to make sure he didn’t find me. I turned around to see whom the voice belonged to.
"I did as well"
"What," I ask.
"Ran away from home may I ask why you are running" he asks in a sweet and welcoming voice. We sit on the bench and chat a while waiting for the bus. "My father wanted to marry some…" I stop and look down "Some guy that is the son of his business partner and he is really old." The woman I am sitting next to sighs and looks to the sky. "What of your mother's opinion"?
"She is in agreement with him." I start to cry "She is meant to protect me…right?"
"No…parents don't care about their kids if they" She looks away.
"I am…I am Demi-Female, and my father hates that I like a shirt and not dresses…"
"Do you dislike dresses?" She asks turning back to me. I nod with a faint smile. She continues "I never made it out…I never found my Snowy Mountains, but you can find yours"
"Snowy Mountains?" I ask as the bus arrives and I hear my father's voice yelling.
"Go I will stall him find your new home" I jump on the bus and take a seat as I see my father yelling at the nice woman and making eye contact with me.
